Project Manager


Job Description: 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations on the construction sites in the Greater NYC Area, including commercial, industrial, solar and residential ground-up projects. The candidate will manage the project schedule, budget and subcontractors, as well as monitor work quality, meet regularly with the client, and interact with municipal personnel and consultants. Working with an international team, CRG’s real estate and construction division is rapidly expanding. The Project Manager - Construction will provide local expertise, diligent communication/management, and excellent construction oversight.
Must be fluent in English.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Schedule and manage our excellent team of subcontractors to achieve fast, high quality progress on the job
Build the job per specifications, plans, and schedule
Work the job to the schedule and complete it on time
Write and manage change orders and trades
Ensure the project complies with plans, specifications, codes and safety guidelines
Monitor the jobsite for job progress, quality, cleanliness and site security
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by field staff and subcontractors
Weekly site meeting agendas and minutes
Create and manage daily logs
Write and present weekly reports at our PM meetings
Take pictures of the job progress regularly
Coordinate with team of inspectors, subcontractors, consultants and designer
Meet weekly with clients to keep clients updated on job status and aware off any issues
Verify selections with the client and designer
Write weekly client meeting agendas and minutes
Provide constructive feedback to Design and Estimating as needed to improve future projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
BA in engineering or architectural
10 years of experience in project management for construction projects
Superior knowledge of local building codes
Fluent in deciphering plans and construction site issues
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Advanced computer skills - MS Office

Job description
CRG DevCo is seeking a talented and qualified Project Superintendent

Job Requirements
Perform pre-bid construction meeting attendance/meeting. Thoroughly understand project, scope of project and work required per projects(s).
Review all construction related documents (ie: plans, specifications, safety procedures,….etc.)
Perform material takes off and materials list for project(s)
Estimate manpower and hours required for specific project(s)
Track and maintain all sub-contractor and hours work on a daily basis
Organize, coordinate and supervise all construction related activities
Coordinate all deliveries and required inspections for all trades required for the project
Maintain construction schedule, field folders, identify issues and solve related issues
Document all daily activities thru daily photos and daily logs of all activities, visitors, inspections, change orders/issues and other related construction items
Photograph and document all underground and/or hidden/cover items (ie: plumbing, electrical,…etc.)
Responsible for quality and acceptance of all work performed by all trades
Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately
Maintain a positive relationship with customers, contractors, inspectors, suppliers and others who visit the work site
Close out all pending and construction related issues
Secure all rough and final inspections required for all governing agency. Document all approvals
Secure all required Certificate of Occupancy and/or Approval to turn project over to Owner
Coordinate and/or perform required Punchlist items to the acceptance of Owner
Secure signature on Final of Punchlist and acceptance by Owner
Provide all daily construction photos, field folder, approvals, plans, approved Punchlist and Certificate of
Occupancy and/or Approval to office for file
Perform construction work as required and as is needed to maintain construction schedule
Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required
